Tourient: a GuidiGO Alternative
Tourient gives you unlimited tours for $1900 less than GuidiGO.
GuidiGO is a self guided tours platform with basic features and a high price, while Tourient is an affordably-priced tour builder for organizations telling complex stories to diverse audiences.
Update: STQRY acquired GuidiGO in 2025
Tourient helps you build better tours for less money.
Unlimited tours and stops
Tourient doesn't limit how many tours and stops you can create, or the number of visitors you can have. GuidiGO limits you to 10 tours.
Accessible and multi-lingual
Share your stories with diverse audiences in up to 65 languages. Offer screen reader support, keyboard navigation, contrast settings, and more.
QR codes and marketing made easy
Tourient includes a QR code generator and built-in tools to help you make the most of your resources, while GuidiGO doesn't include anything extra.
Custom themes for every tour
GuidiGO doesn't include custom branding, while Tourient lets you theme every tour with colors and fonts in addition to adding your logo and brand color.
Analytics included
Track the basics, but also track QR code scans, sponsor clicks, poll usage, and other metrics that matter to your stakeholders.
AAM-accredited museums choose Tourient to build tours for diverse audiences.
“We strive to share the diverse stories of the people of McLean County, and we want people to be able to access those stories regardless of language barriers.” —Micaela Harris, Communications Director
Tourient is the right choice if...
Tourient has no limits on how many tours or stops you create, nor are there limits on visitors or admin users for their CMS. GuidiGO, on the other hand, limits you to ten tours at most.
GuidiGo counts each language as a separate tour, while Tourient can handle up to 65 languages (including RTL) without impacting your quantity of tours. Tourient also meets WCAG Level AA accessibility standards, which are a legal requirement in many regions.
GuidiGo doesn't include built-in tools like text translations, ALT text generation, QR code creation, and audio transcripts. Tourient does.
GuidiGo is the right choice if...
GuidiGo's audio player syncs an image slideshow to chapters of audio content, while Tourient's audio player is focused on ease of use and accessibility.
While there are other apps we'd recommend for running a scavenger hunt, GuidiGO includes them on their premium plan. Tourient lacks this feature.
Both apps are comparably priced
If you're creating two tours, GuidiGo's standard plan and Tourient's starter plan are the same price. Between two and five tours, GuidiGo is cheaper than Tourient. At more than 5 tours, Tourient is 46% cheaper than GuidiGo.
