January 15th, 2026

  1. Log in to Tourient

  2. In the top navigation menu, you'll see a Tools button. Click that.

  3. In the Tools page, you'll see a list of tools. Click Transcribe Audio. Alternatively, visit [yoursite.tourient.app]/tools/transcribe-audio.

  4. First, select a tour. If the tour contains no audio files, the tool will inform you of this, as shown in the screenshot below.

  1. If a tour contains audio files, they will show in a list of stops and audio. You can select individual stops by checking the checkbox next to each stop name you want to transcribe the audio for.

  1. When ready, click Generate. This can take from one minute to several minutes depending on how many stops you are transcribing. Take a break.

  2. Once audio is generated, it will appear in a text field below the stop name and audio. It's a best practice to follow along with the audio while reading the transcript to check for any errors or omissions.

  1. To copy the transcribed text, either click the Copy Text button to the right of the stop name, or click on the text field itself.

  2. Next, click on the link for the transcript field (between the audio player and the transcribed text, as shown in the image below). This link will open the associated tour stop.

  3. Paste the text into the Audio Transcript field by right-clicking in the field, then clicking Paste, or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V (CMD + V on Mac)

  4. Click the Save & Publish button to save.
