Creating Sponsors

There are two ways to create sponsors: in the Sponsors page or from within a tour or tour stop. Here's how to create them in the Sponsors page.

1. Login to the CMS

2. Click on Sponsors

3. Click Create Entry at the top right

4. Add a Sponsor Name (such as a private donor's name or business name)

5. If they have a website, you can add it in the Website field.

6. If they have a logo, browse for an existing file or upload a new one.

7. You can add the sponsor to route maps (if a physical business is offering coupons or deals to visitors) by adding longitude and latitude points for their location. Learn how to retrieve these points in this article.

8. If adding them to a route map, you can also choose an icon, add a description for their offer, and upload an image with the offer (like a coupon or QR code)

9. When finished, click Save (or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL / CMD + S)

Sponsors linked to tours display in a Sponsors card, like the one shown below. They appear as logos that are linked to sponsor websites.
